Guidelines for Filming an Introduction Video for Teaching Jobs in Thailand

Below are guidelines for filming an Introduction video specific to Thailand:

1. When filming an introduction video, we recommended being in a well-lit environment and dressing conservatively/smartly/politely.

2. Try to film yourself sitting down, half body, in the center of the camera, and be enthusiastic and smiling a lot…

3. Ensure to speak slowly so Thai Teachers/Administrators can understand you easily, and it’s essential to know that they are listening to see if they think the students will understand your pronunciation.  

4. Try to make it around 30 secs – 1 minute in length.

5. (Note: be careful if you have an accent, try to normalize/soften your accent)

11. If students make mistakes, it is ok! I can help students practice so they are confident in all areas of English, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
